What is PE protective film?
PE protective film, the full name of which is POLYETHYLENE, is a kind of polymer organic compound with very simple structure, and is also a kind of polymer material widely used in the world. The PE protective film is made of special polyethylene (PE) plastic film as the base material. According to the density, it can be divided into high-density polyethylene protective film, medium-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene. It is soft in nature, good in adhesion, easy to peel, and has no residual adhesive after peeling.

The greatest advantage of PE protective film is to protect the product from pollution, corrosion, scratch and the original bright surface during production, processing, transportation, storage and use, thus improving the product quality and market competitiveness.

Structure and characteristics of protective film?
At present, the protective film on the market is roughly divided into two sides and three structures: base layer and adhesive layer
① General process: evenly coat the adhesive on the base material, and mix the base rubber particles with the base material.
② Co-extrusion process: that is, the rubber particles are mixed with the base material, and there is no glue on the surface, but there is a certain adhesive force, and there will be no residual glue.
Product characteristics:
1. Abrasion/scratch resistance - can provide long-term protection for many highly finished surfaces;
2. Impact resistance - maintain the integrity of the surface in many applications where the impact is not very strong;
3. Puncture resistance - it can form a tough barrier to the liquid and prevent it from corroding the product;
4. Flexibility - can adapt to most surface shapes;
5. Non-volatile organic components - volatile organic components will not be released when used.
Precautions for application of protective film
1. Preparation: Please keep the adhered surface clean and free of dust, oil and other residues, so as to achieve the best adhesion when applying the adhesive film;
2. Application: The protective adhesive film shall be pasted or torn off at a temperature not lower than 60 ℉/(14 ℃) to obtain the best effect;
3. Note: If the protective film is wet after pasting, please wait until it is completely dry before removing it. In addition, please use the first-in first-out inventory management principle;
4. Recommended storage environment: temperature range: 60~80 ℉ (15-27 ℃), relative humidity: 40~60%.
