耐火电线电缆用云母带是将云母纸（氟金云母纸、金云母纸或粉云母纸）和玻璃布（或高聚酯薄膜），利用耐热硅树脂粘合而制成的一种新兴绝缘材料。
耐火电线电缆用云母带是干爽的、无粘性、但具有很强的弯曲性和柔软性，而且用于高速绕包时仍具有极高的抗张强度。
耐火电线电缆用云母带在840~950℃，耐火电线电缆用氟金云母带在1000~1200℃的高温状态下，仍具有优良的电绝缘性。
为了确保耐火电线电缆用云母带的云母含量达到70%以上，产品以单面及双面玻璃布补强为主，在客户的要求前提下，也可以向客户提供薄膜补强云母带。
